 Student Goals:

            1.  Become independent learners

            2.  Access a higher level of instruction in academic courses

            3.  Build and strengthen skills necessary for academic success

 Student Responsibilities: 

            1.  Maintain focus during Academic Seminar

            2.  Use time efficiently during Academic Seminar

            3.  Inform instructor of assignments, projects, papers, quizzes and tests

            4.  Maintain and use planner with weekly and monthly views

            5.  Take thorough notes in all classes

            6.  Maintain organized notebook

            7.  Complete homework in all classes

            8.  Communicate with teachers

 Student Agreement:

I agree to accept enrollment into the Academic Seminar class, which will offer academic support to me.  I want to succeed, and I understand that I must take individual responsibility for my own success.  I also understand that I will be allowed to remain in the program only if I meet the student responsibilities outlined above and that failure to do so will result in my removal from the program with a W/F.  I know that by fulfilling all of my responsibilities I am more likely to strengthen my skills and achieve academic success.
